Perfect for edging all types of shield. Sold in strips (approx. 130cm long on average), 4 to 5 cm (1 1/2" to 2" approx.) wide.
Take the total circumference of your planned shield in centimetres and divide by 120 to determine the number of strips you need.
That said, some strips are up to 150 cm long, so if you have a large shield project, let us know your diameter and we may be able to optimise your purchase.
On average it takes :
- two strips for round shields of 70 or 80 cm in diameter
- two to three strips for 90cm in diameter, as well as for our norman shield plate.
- one roll to edge a buckler
To be sewn or nailed.
Very tough material.
NB: This is a natural product that is neither treated nor dyed. The colors range from ecru "parchment" to dark brown. The colors delivered are NOT guaranteed and depend on arrivals.
