They're too small.
Comment from Black Armoury the 25/03/2025
Hello Lorenzo,
Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We're sorry to hear that the sizing did not meet your expectations. The Mini Forearm protectors are intentionally small, low profile protectors primarily designed to extend the glove cuff and add some protection between the glove and elbow.
If the problem is the diameter and they don't quite fit your forearms, you can heat them in hot water and adjust the size as need.
Of course, if you prefer to return them, you may send them back to us and we will refund your order.
Best regards,
Anthony

Light weight and low profile protection as expected and as desired. I chose this protection for an easier handling of the upper guards in longsword fencing. As with everything in fencing, you trade in a certain degree of protection in return for an improved mobility.

Did not fit me correctly out of the box, but this is common as I have thick forearms. I will try heating and adjusting them. The product itself is something I have wanted in HEMA for a long time; forearm protection that is a simple, thin, hard layer, without the kind of overengineering found on other massive segmented hard-and-soft layered monstrosities available from some other companies. These are enough to take the sting out of hard blows to the fleshy parts of the forearm, without added bulk. Default size (curvature) is in my opinion too small for the average man's forearm with a jacket; maybe okay without. If you have thicker arms, or average + jacket, prepare to lightly heat and customize the fit as suggested in the product description.
